Great slow cooker. Love the cast aluminum insert!

This slow cooker is really nice. The insert works great for browning on the stove. I've moved it to the oven from the crockpot with no problems, too. Well made. The insert seems light, but is very sturdy. Browns meats nicely on the stove (I have a gas range) then I just sit it back in the base and finish the recipe there. Great price compared to other slow cookers with a browning capable insert. It does seem to run a little hot on low...but modern slow cookers all seem to, now...this isn't uncommon. I just adjust my recipe slightly if it's heat sensitive. Highly recommend this slow cooker. Update: I have used this now about 20 times. It works flawlessly, and the insert is just fabulous. It's so nice to be able to brown meats in it, or finish gravy on the stove, or place it in the oven if I need to. Can't say enough good things about this slow cooker!!

Very nice slow cooker

I really like my TRU slow cooker. I have had it for a few months, it cooks nicely and cleans up easily. The high setting is quite fast, so only use it if you are going to be back in a few hours. The low is perfect for over night cooking or all day cooking.

SIMPLE...

This slow cooker is very simple, but works great. With HIGH, LOW, and WARM settings. It's up to date with all other latest slow cookers, meaning it cooks a little faster than older models...but, don't we need things more quickly in today's world? :) I've used the removable pot and seared meat and placed it back into slow cooker to finish it up, make tender. PERFECT. The other thing, it STORES PERFECTLY. SLEEK and AWESOME! HAPPY! :)
