If you have received an onlin e 20% discount coupon offer from BB&B via email, the same deal applies, including free shipping. That way, you don't have to travel to a BB&B store to obtain the benefit of the discount - you can avail yourself of the discount online.

I think this is a decent product (I have the MC702, which I bought from BB&B for $128.00). I'd give it three and one half stars. The product is versatile, so you can do several things in one pot. I like this appliance best as a roaster; it works well for roasting chicken, beef, veal and pork without heating up the kitchen and uses less energy than an oven. It's easy to clean. The cooking system gets hot, so you have to be careful with it. The unit must be used on an open counter because of the vent-hole in the lid. The power cord is only about two feet long and does not retract. Thus, you may need to use an extension cord to operate it in a safe place. The product does not have a glass lid so you can't view what you're cooking. The metal lid is flimsy and not dishwasher safe, as it will rust (stamped on the lid are the words "Lid is not dishwasher safe"). The lid does not have clips, so, transporting the contents could be tricky. You can't program the slow cooker, which operates manually. There is no buzzer, beeper, or chime when the timer runs out. The product is manufactured in China (I would have preferred that it was made in the U.S.A.)

So far, I've made lemon chicken with rosemary, beef stew, ribs, chili, roast chicken, roast beef, roast veal, roast pork, and one of my favorites, beef bourguignon, all of which were very good and easy to prepare.

RATING: I rated the Ninja MC702 Multi Cooker 3 in 1 Cooking System three and one-half stars. In my opinion, it cooks reasonably well but I have reservations about the quality and shortcomings of the product. I'm not sure how well it will hold up over time.

1STOP! Don't get taken, too.
By BW
After using the Ninja Multi Cooker, I regret having purchased it. I would not recommend it to anyone. So, "What's wrong with it?", you ask. Well, it's a great idea, poorly executed. It's just plain cheaply made. The cooking pot is aluminum, so the pot handles become way too hot to handle or accidentally touch. The lid is aluminum and it gets hot, too. Want to check your food? You have to lift the lid and that defeats the cooking system. The non-stick coating scratches very easily. My unit came with a small aluminum pan with a non-stick coating. I cooked a meatloaf in the pan and the non-stick coating peeled off into my food. YUCK! The power cord is about a foot short. I find it difficult to find the best location on my counter top because of that. It has a digital display, but it's very limited in it's function. It has no alarm to sound when done. The dial that controls everything is hard to read, so it's difficult to know what function is selected. I could g o on and on. Before I bought it, I read one positive review after another. Perhaps you will, too. I just hope you will give more weight to my review and not throw your money away.
I got my Multi Cooker at BJ's Warehouse Club.

5Amazing product! Highly recommend! RECIPES HERE!!

UPDATED Review 3/1/2013!!! Many more recipes have been uploaded to YouTube!! Subscribe to my channel for weekly recipes. Search on YouTube for im14pinball. My videos will come up. Thanks!!

We bought ours at a local departments store, it was around the $120 range with a coupon. We are very pleased with it so far.

We saved quite a bit over the TV price and I cant believe we purchased it cheaper than Amazon sells it. Very rarely does that happen!

Needless to say, we really enjoy our Ninja Cooking System.

The multiple settings allow this one appliance to be so versatile, so convenient that you will most likely never use another traditional crock pot again.

This has a StoveTop setting with low, medium, high settings. This can be used for simmering, sauteing, and searing meats. We often sear our meat on Stovetop high prior to cooking it to help seal in the juices.

It has an oven setting that is adjustable usin g the digital display. You can adjust the oven temperature from 250 - 425 degrees!! Use this like a traditional oven. Much faster to heat up than a traditional oven and much less energy is used.

It also has a slow cooker setting with Low, High and Buffet settings. This setting is what you would use to cook like you would using a traditional crock pot. The buffet setting you would use to keep food warm for serving.

The main pot holds up to 6 quarts!! It also comes with a silicon mini muffin pan, a mini cake style pan and a mesh roasting rack that makes steaming veggies a breeze.

So far everything has been super easy to clean. I have not had anything stick bad enough that I was scrubbing to get it clean. Most items just rinse right off of it. The main pot is dishwasher safe. The roasting rack and lid is not. However I have never had any issues cleaning either. I have not had any issues with the non stick cooking surface peeling off. I mak e sure I only use plastic or wooden utensils in it and never scrape metal spoons or forks against the nonstick surface.

So far, everything we have cooked in this thing has came out great.

The cupcakes that come out of this thing are super moist and each one is evenly cooked.

The roast was awesome!! Taco soup is YUMMY! (see youtube for recipes)

There are just a couple things that I have noticed after using this for several months. Not really complaints but items to mention.

One annoying item, and this is a complaint. There is no buzzer or DING! to notify you when the cooking timer is done. This seems like an Obvious, simple thing that was just overlooked.

When Steaming or steam roasting, one cup of water will last approx 9 - 11 minutes. SO if you are steam roasting for longer you need to make sure you check your water level periodically to ensure it doesn't completely evaporate and add more as needed.
< br />The unit gets HOT!! So make sure you don't touch most of it when cooking. the handle on the lid stays cool, that and the controls are the only safe areas when this thing is on and cooking.

Be careful when removing the lid, the steam is HOT and there will be a lot of condensation on the inside of the lid that will spill on the counter or whatever you hold the lid over when you remove it. Its best to just tilt the lid off and hold it over the food to let the water drain off the lid and back into the pot. You will see what I am talking about once you get it and cook with it. :-)

The only other problem is the lack of recipes online. They are few and far between. It does come with a mini book to get you started, it contains 25 recipes. Some are practical, others are not, ( I don't cook scallops often, if ever.) There is an additional cook book available but it is around $25 to $30 extra!!

SO, to save everyone some money, my wife and I ar e putting recipes on YouTube for everyone to enjoy.

We plan on posting a lot more to help others also looking for recipes.

Feel free to subscribe to my YouTube channel. We plan on adding at least one new recipe each and every week.

Go to YouTube and search for im14pinball My channel will be the first one to pop up.

Let me know if there are any recipes you want us to try and I will try to get them online.

We currently have How To videos for Cupcakes, Chicken Poppers, Taco Soup, Potato Soup, Broccoli Cheese dip, Super Easy Spaghetti (you really won't believe how easy it is), an awesome THREE INGREDIENT ROAST!!! and many more.

I really hope this review has helped some people. Please rate this review up if it did.

Thanks.
