4Works really well
By T. Gentry
This slow cooker is perfect for someone who is only cooking for one or two. It works really well. I decided to cook a 1.5lb corned beef for 7 hrs on low; its was as tender as if I had cocked on one if the really expensive slow cooker. I also cooked chili in it, which was very good. The only reason it didn't get 5 stats is because its very heavy.

5Just as Good as Crock Pot
By Rose GM
I realize the Crock Pot brand is actually very affordable and a great product, but I'm always in search of a good deal so when I came across this slow cooker in a home store near me, I snapped it up and thought I've give it a try. It works wonderfully and just as well as my 4-quart Crock Pot which I've had for years (one of the rare gifts from my mother that I LOVE). As for the size, it's great if you're cooking for 1-3 people but it can't handle a huge roast or a whole chicken; if you've ever bought a saucepan set, this is about the size of a medium saucepan. The cooking settings are "Low", "High", and "Keep Warm" depending on how fast/slow you want your dish to be ready. Although the "Keep Warm" setting is a good idea, it doesn't keep soup as warm as I like when I'm serving to guests, so I'd recommend putting the setting on "High" for soup and "Keep Warm" for things like pot roasts etc. All in all, a great slow cooker at a seriously great price.

2It seems to get very hot on the exterior. I love the size & convenience, however, I'm concerned about the exterior heat
By nancy
The exterior becomes very hot very fast. Otherwise, I love the size & convenience. It cooks beautifully. The heat emanating from the exterior does concern me.
