Lackluster features

There are better slow cookers out there. This one simply has a temperature setting of high, medium, and low. Others in the same price range will have timers, and a sensor that will shut off the heat if the water level gets too low and starts drying out the food. The Stay or Go lid works very well, and the removeable insert is easy to clean. The copper wrap-around skin is noticeably fake, and doesn't have a natural shade of copper. It didn't fit in with the rest of my copper pots and pans. It's overall not a bad appliance, just wasn't a feature-filled as I had hoped.

Works wonderful and is very attractive. I didn't expect a real copper finish as previous reviewer had, so I was pleased with a different color from other crocks. Simple, attractive design. I was looking for one that does NOT shut-off automatically, so this one fit the bill.
